The object
Light as a design element.
Instead of hiding the light source behind a traditional lampshade, it is actively integrated into the design. Through layered elements, the light is directed, softened, and diffused, creating a warm and calm atmosphere. Light is no longer an addition, but an essential part that completes the final form of the object.
01
Rooted in craft
The design is rooted in the craft of leather — a material and technique that has existed since the earliest years of humanity. Combined with contemporary industrial processes, the aluminium base is produced with high precision while the leather elements are carefully finished by hand.
02
Modular by design
The lamp is built from modular layers, allowing the composition to change in scale and presence. When you grow tired of a color or texture, only the leather elements need to be changed — extending the product's lifespan and reducing environmental impact.
03
Intuitive interaction
The aluminium base integrates a touch interface that allows the lamp to be switched on, off, or dimmed by touching the surface anywhere. This intuitive interaction lowers the barrier of use and creates a smooth user experience.

Locally produced.
Duocurve is locally produced in collaboration with a Belgian family company specialized in leather craftsmanship, supporting and strengthening existing knowledge and expertise. The project has been presented on international platforms such as For the Now 2025 and Salone del Mobile / SaloneSatellite in Milan 2026.
A clear vision.
The strength of Duocurve lies in the clarity of its concept, the consistency of its design approach, and the strong connection between material, form, and experience. It is not just a functional object, but a product that responds to evolving needs, sustainability, and the relationship between user and environment.
